When someone asks AI about your field, the question almost always takes one of three shapes, and most businesses are built for none of them.

A category question, "best [service] in [city]," is answered from directories and reviews. A problem question, "who helps with [specific situation]?," is answered from case studies and FAQs that match that situation. A comparison question, "[Option A] versus [Option B]," is answered from real discussions, reviews, and honest comparisons.

If you have no directory profile, no case study for the problem, and nothing that supports a comparison, you are absent from all three answers. The fix is to build for the question you actually get. If your customers ask category questions, complete your directory profiles and earn reviews that name the service. If they ask problem questions, write one detailed, answer-first case study for your most common situation.
