Question five of five, and it is the one every other day of this series has been building toward. How does a business become trusted and recommended?

The answer

It aligns what the business says, what its systems know, and what outside sources can verify.

Three sources of truth, one story. When your site says one thing, your profiles say another, and the outside record says a third, every engine reading you finds the disagreement, and disagreement reads as risk. When all three align, you stop being a claim and become a fact.

The Trust Triangle

This is the framework under everything you have done since Day 1, and it has three legs.

Authority grows from consistent information. One exact name, one description, one set of facts, everywhere you appear. The Day 4 entity test told you where you stand; the Day 5 proof work told you what to put behind it. Authority is the engine being able to say who you are without hedging.

Recommendability grows from credible proof. Outside signals that agree with your site: reviews with specifics, listings that match, an owner who answers. Days 8 and 9. Recommendability is other people's words carrying your name somewhere you do not control, which is exactly why engines weigh them.

Citation grows when the business becomes a clear source. Pages that state the question and answer it in passages a machine can lift whole. Days 3, 6, and 10. Citation is your own words doing the answering, with your name attached.

The part that holds it together

Governance keeps those signals connected instead of leaving them scattered across tools and platforms. That is why the last four days came before this one. Memory keeps the facts in one place. Proof keeps done honest. The approval line keeps what reaches customers correct. Without that structure, the three legs drift apart on their own, one profile edit at a time.

Do this today

Score your business 1 to 10 on each leg, honestly. Can an engine say who you are without hedging? Does the outside record back you with specifics? Could a machine lift an answer from your site right now? The lowest number is next week's work, and everything this series taught you maps to one of the three.
